Ā

The Tango Mandarin (Citrus reticulata 'Tango') is a patented, seedless citrus variety developed by the University of California, Riverside. Introduced in 2006, it is a mutation of the W. Murcott mandarin, irradiated to eliminate seeds while retaining the rich, sweet flavor characteristic of the Murcott lineage.Ā

šŸŠ Fruit Characteristics

🌳 Tree Characteristics

  • Soil: Requires well-drained, fertile soil.

  • Watering: Maintain consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, but avoid waterlogging.

  • Fertilization: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer formulated for citrus trees in early spring and again in late summer.
