Pollination: compatible partner required

Santa Rosa or Beauty.

Choose a compatible cultivar with overlapping bloom at your site. A second tree of the same cultivar is not a substitute.

The Satsuma plum is a delicious Japanese variety known for its juicy, sweet-tart red flesh and smooth, deep burgundy skin. Perfect for fresh eating, preserves, and desserts, Satsuma plums ripen early in the season and offer excellent flavor and texture. This tree is pollinated by Santa Rosa or Beauty; plan for a compatible partner.

Ideal for Southern California gardens, Satsuma plums thrive in full sun and well-drained soil, producing beautiful spring blossoms followed by a generous summer harvest. Available in 15-gallon, 24" box, and 36" box sizes. Note: 24" and 36" box trees may require equipment for unloading and may incur additional delivery charges.

How ordering works

Use our website to request your preferred variety and container size. Submitting a request does not complete a purchase or guarantee availability. We verify stock and plant health, then confirm your selection, pricing and estimated delivery window. No payment is accepted until stock and plant health have been verified. If your selection is unavailable or does not meet our health standards, we discuss suitable alternatives with you before proceeding.

Delivery and professional planting are quoted separately unless expressly included. Explore professional planting or request a variety or specimen.
