Plant People by Earth People LandCare

Better routes. Thoughtful citrus delivery.

We group citrus orders into two scheduled local routes each month to reduce repeated nursery trips, coordinate sourcing and keep deliveries efficient and cost-effective. Laguna Beach is our primary service area, with delivery to other served South Orange County communities.

First & third Fridays

Grouped citrus delivery: first and third Fridays of each month. Order cutoff: 5 p.m. Pacific on the previous Friday. Nursery availability, order confirmation and current citrus movement requirements must be cleared before a route date is assigned. Orders after the cutoff move to the next available route. We confirm your delivery date and arrival window directly; holidays, weather or supplier delays may require a revised date.

These route days are our standard schedule, not a guaranteed delivery appointment. Larger specimen trees, difficult access and installation may require separate scheduling. Delivery fees and any planting costs are confirmed for your order.

How your order moves onto a route

  1. Submit your order or request: include your variety, size, quantity, delivery address, phone number and access details.
  2. We verify sourcing: confirm the actual nursery availability, tree selection, source-to-destination movement eligibility and any required documentation.
  3. Confirm the order before cutoff: finalize selection, quoted delivery costs and any required payment or deposit by 5 p.m. Pacific the Friday before the target route.
  4. Receive your appointment: we confirm the route date and arrival window directly. An online order alone does not reserve an unconfirmed delivery date.

Where practical, other plants in an order containing citrus travel on the same route. Non-citrus-only orders follow their separately confirmed delivery arrangements. Off-cycle citrus delivery is available only if separately agreed and quoted.

Why HLB changes citrus sourcing

HLB is a bacterial disease spread by the Asian citrus psyllid, with no known cure. A visual plant inspection cannot rule out an infection. Citrus sourcing and delivery are subject to applicable CDFA nursery and quarantine requirements for the source and destination.

We inspect sourced plants for visible signs of pests, disease and overall condition before delivery. That inspection is a visual quality check; it is not an HLB laboratory test or a guarantee that a tree is disease-free.

Citrus warranty exclusion

No citrus tree warranty: because of the risk of Huanglongbing (HLB/citrus greening), Earth People LandCare does not offer a voluntary citrus-tree survival, growth, fruit-production or disease warranty, including HLB coverage or replacement for later decline. This exclusion applies to citrus trees in packages and to citrus trees receiving planting or maintenance services. It does not remove applicable consumer rights. Delivery damage, incorrect items or defects present at delivery are reviewed separately; please contact us promptly with photos.

Professional planting and ongoing care can support establishment, but they do not create a citrus-tree warranty or prevent every future pest or disease problem.

If something changes

If stock, weather, a holiday or movement eligibility affects your order, we contact you to review the available options and a revised delivery date. We do not substitute varieties without your approval. Do not move or return citrus plants without arranging it with us first so applicable movement requirements can be reviewed.

Effective October 8, 2026 for new citrus orders. Previously confirmed orders retain their agreed arrangements unless a change is agreed with the customer.
