We inspect the system, identify priorities and recommend the appropriate repair or optimization work.

The $150 assessment is credited toward qualifying approved irrigation work performed by Earth People.

Irrigation Repair

We repair common residential irrigation problems including broken heads, leaking lines, malfunctioning valves, clogged or damaged drip components, coverage problems and controller issues. Larger repairs, trenching, new valves, hardscape access and system renovations are quoted after inspection.

Irrigation Optimization

A working system is not necessarily an efficient system. Earth People can adjust scheduling, improve distribution, correct overspray and runoff, improve drip layouts, separate incompatible watering needs where practical and align irrigation with the plants actually growing on the property.

Smart Irrigation Controllers

We work with common smart and conventional irrigation controls, including Rain Bird and Hunter systems. Where appropriate, we can recommend controller upgrades, weather-responsive scheduling and other efficiency improvements. Rebate availability varies by water agency, property and program, so eligibility should be confirmed before work begins.

Fruit Tree & Orchard Irrigation

Fruit trees need irrigation designed around an expanding root zone, soil drainage, tree size, season and species. Earth People can install or modify drip, emitters, bubblers and other appropriate root-zone watering for citrus, avocado, stone fruit, apples, figs, pomegranates and backyard orchards.

California Native & Water-Wise Irrigation

Native plants are not automatically “no water” plants, especially during establishment. We build watering plans around species, slope, soil, drainage, exposure and establishment stage, with the goal of reducing unnecessary long-term irrigation without stressing the landscape.
