The Zutano avocado is a vigorous Type B variety known for its tall, upright growth and reliable cold tolerance. Producing medium to large, pear-shaped fruit with smooth, shiny green skin and a light, mild flavor, Zutano is an excellent early-season producer. While it can fruit on its own, it's most often planted alongside Type A avocados like Hass or Lamb Hass to improve pollination and overall yield.
Ideal for Southern California gardens, Zutano trees thrive in well-drained soil and full sun. Available in 15-gallon, 24" box, and 36" box sizes—larger specimens offer quicker fruit production and a stronger visual presence in the landscape. Note: 24" and 36" box trees may require equipment for unloading and could incur additional delivery charges.
