Burgundy Plum
Sweet, dark red-fleshed Japanese-type plum with attractive spring flowers.
Growing in Laguna Beach and South Orange County
A possible choice for suitably chilled South Orange County gardens. Select a sunny location with well-drained soil. Establish with deep watering, mulch and appropriate organic plant care. Heat, marine-layer effects and winter chill differ widely among nearby neighborhoods.
Pollination and harvest
Generally self-fruitful, though a compatible pollen partner may help. Tree age, mature dimensions and fruiting status depend on the actual nursery specimen. Dormant deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Professional installation
Earth People Landcare can help with soil preparation, irrigation, pruning and ongoing orchard care.
Reservation terms
Select the listed size to request a reservation. Availability, plant health, dimensions and logistics are verified before payment. Delivery and installation are separate.
