Italian Prune Plum

Italian Prune Plum

Classic blue-purple European prune plum prized for drying and baking. Fruit set and winter dormancy depend on chill and site. Usually regarded as self-fruitful, although another European plum can improve yields in some sites.

Growing in South Orange County

Assess sun exposure, microclimate, irrigation, drainage, seasonal temperature and pollination before planting. We can recommend the right site, prepare soil and arrange organic establishment care. Mature size and fruiting age depend on the actual nursery plant.
