Jostaberry

Jostaberry

A currant-gooseberry hybrid with tart dark berries for preserves and fresh experimentation. Likes rich well-drained soil and regular water, with protection from hot inland afternoon sun. More challenging in mild-winter Southern California.

Growing in South Orange County

Assess sun exposure, microclimate, irrigation, drainage, seasonal temperature and pollination before planting. We can recommend the right site, prepare soil and arrange organic establishment care. Mature size and fruiting age depend on the actual nursery plant.

How ordering works
