Kiwi Magic Combination
The Kiwi Magic combination pairs a fruiting female kiwi and a male pollenizer in one container. The branded combination is described as Actinidia chinensis ‘Vincent’ (female) with ‘Tomuri’ (male). Confirm both nursery labels before fulfillment. These are fuzzy, egg-sized kiwifruit, rather than smooth-skinned hardy kiwi berries.
Winter chill: low-chill selection
UC guidance places Vincent among low-chill kiwi selections in an estimated 50–250-hour group range. This is a group estimate, not a measured requirement for the whole combination. The male and female must both flower successfully and overlap at your site. UC kiwi reference · Combination reference · Understand chill hours.
Pollination and garden care
Retain and train both vines. A female vine alone needs a compatible male pollenizer; planting them together does not make the female self-fruitful. Provide a strong arbor or trellis, full sun, freely draining soil and regular moisture without waterlogging. Protect young growth from frost. Growth and fruiting depend on local conditions and care.
Delivery and planting
Container size is not a guaranteed vine length or fruit yield. Ask about nursery labels, availability, delivery and professional planting.
How ordering works
Use our website to request your preferred variety and container size. Submitting a request does not complete a purchase or guarantee availability.
