The Mexicola avocado is a unique cold-hardy Type A variety prized for its smooth, thin, edible black skin and bold, anise-scented foliage. One of the earliest-ripening avocado varieties, it produces small to medium-sized fruit with a rich, nutty flavor and high oil content. Its compact size and elegant branching make it a great choice for home gardens, especially in cooler inland areas where other varieties may struggle.

Mexicola trees are well-adapted to Southern California climates and can tolerate lower temperatures than most avocados. Available in 15-gallon, 24" box, and 36" box sizes, this tree is a favorite for both orchard-style plantings and edible landscapes. Larger box sizes may require equipment for unloading and may be subject to additional delivery fees.
