Olea europaea ‘Mission’
A traditional California olive grown for both cured table olives and oil. Its silvery evergreen canopy suits Mediterranean-style gardens; raw olives require curing before eating.
Growing in South Orange County
Give olives full sun and freely draining soil. Water consistently during establishment, then adjust irrigation to the site and season. Many South Orange County gardens offer a suitable Mediterranean climate, but damp, poorly drained locations need correction. Fruiting trees can drop fruit near paths and paving.
Choose your tree size and form
Use the size and form selector above for current tree-only pricing. For large specimens, ask us for current photos, trunk details and canopy measurements before confirming your selection.
Container size describes the growing container, not a guaranteed tree height or fruit yield. Exact specimen dimensions and current availability are confirmed before fulfillment.
Delivery and professional planting
Local delivery and professional planting are available in South Orange County and quoted separately from the tree price. We review access, planting location, irrigation and drainage before arranging installation. Contact Earth People Landcare to confirm your preferred size and discuss planting.

How ordering works
Use our website to request your preferred variety and container size. Submitting a request does not complete a purchase or guarantee availability. We verify stock and plant health, then confirm your selection, pricing and estimated delivery window. No payment is accepted until stock and plant health have been verified. If your selection is unavailable or does not meet our health standards, we discuss suitable alternatives with you before proceeding.
Delivery and professional planting are quoted separately unless expressly included. Explore professional planting or request a variety or specimen.
