Tilton Apricot
A classic firm golden apricot traditionally used fresh, dried or preserved.
Growing in Laguna Beach and South Orange County
Apricot blossom may be vulnerable to weather swings and inadequate winter chill in coastal Orange County. Select a sunny location with well-drained soil. Establish with deep watering, mulch and appropriate organic plant care. Heat, marine-layer effects and winter chill differ widely among nearby neighborhoods.
Pollination and harvest
Generally self-fruitful. Tree age, mature dimensions and fruiting status depend on the actual nursery specimen. Dormant deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
Professional installation
Earth People Landcare can help with soil preparation, irrigation, pruning and ongoing orchard care.
Reservation terms
