What is the Living Soil service?
We evaluate your growing goals, soil conditions and irrigation before recommending an organic, water-wise approach. The treatment may involve surface mulch, carefully selected compost, targeted amendments, irrigation adjustments or a maintenance plan. We do not apply every input to every property.
How it works
- Request an assessment. Tell us your location, growing areas, plant types and concerns.
- Confirm the testing scope. Soil testing and interpretation starts at $300 for one defined sampling area and agreed panel. Additional tests are quoted separately.
- Review your results. We explain key findings alongside drainage, irrigation and plant symptoms.
- Receive a custom treatment quote. We identify priorities, materials, application methods, exclusions and expected follow-up.
- Choose implementation. One-time application or ongoing property care can be quoted separately.
Possible treatment components
- Organic mulch installation and soil-surface protection
- Appropriate mature compost or castings where justified
- Targeted mineral amendments only when supported by testing
- Root-zone and irrigation-management recommendations
- Site-appropriate soil cover, planting and erosion-reduction measures
- Follow-up monitoring and retesting when useful
Pricing and scope
Professional soil testing starts at $300. The customized Living Soil application is quoted after site review. Materials, labor, additional lab panels, drainage construction and ongoing visits are not included in the testing price. No standard amendment recipe or guaranteed results are represented.
