Flavor Queen Pluot
A notably sweet, yellow-green plum-apricot hybrid, prized by growers who enjoy unusual stone fruit.
Can you grow it in South Orange County?
Select a sunny location and check winter chill, local flowering conditions and pollinizer compatibility first.
Planting, soil and irrigation
Full sun, drainage, regular establishment irrigation and appropriate seasonal pruning. Stone-fruit pollination can be sensitive to cool, wet bloom weather.
Pollination and fruiting
Do not assume self-fertility. Plan for a compatible plum or pluot with confirmed overlapping bloom.
Size, maturity and what to expect
Green-gold ripe fruit may look unripe to unfamiliar customers; maturity varies by site.
Our reservation process
Select the listed container size to request a tree. We confirm nursery stock, current plant health, approximate dimensions, and any cultivar-specific considerations before payment. Online photos are botanical references, not photos of the exact plant unless labeled otherwise. Delivery, installation, soil preparation and irrigation work are quoted separately.
Image notice: The featured photo is a representative pluot fruit stock image, not the specific Flavor Queen Pluot cultivar nor the actual nursery specimen. Size, color, ripeness and appearance may differ. Stock is confirmed before payment.
Professional planting — recommended
Bring your tree home with confidence. Request professional tree planting and installation with an Earth People Landcare horticulture specialist. We can review planting location, set the root flare correctly, backfill appropriately and plan establishment watering. The quote depends on your tree's size and property access.
Optional property checks
Not sure about drainage or irrigation? Pre-planting soil & site check and irrigation assessment are available separately.
Delivery, professional installation, irrigation and soil/site services are not included in the plant price. Nursery stock and plant health are verified before payment.
